The Resort Baia del Silenzio is on several initiatives to help the third world for more than 20 years, following the philosophy ‘Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.’
We do this together with the PSC, an International volunteer organization that is based on principles of solidarity and fraternity. The main object of this organization is to foster the cooperation between the people and the integral development of the human person. Its head office is in Castellammare di Stabia (Naples) and one each in Senegal, Congo and Peru. The programs in developing countries that the PSC has in place at this time in Senegal, Congo and Peru cover the following areas:
- Support to children
- Social health
- Basic and professional training
- Responsible tourism
On several occasions, our friends had the opportunity to live our relationship with CPS through the different events we organize to raise money to carry out various charity projects. Those, however, who do not know us, may start to follow our initiatives immediately and involve their friends or co-workers.
In 2011 it ended the project of the Multipurpose Center CPS ‘ Stefano della Valle’ in Mbour (Senegal). The implementations of the Multipurpose Center serve to support an entire village through the working of cereals, tissues, juices including the creation of jams.
Since 2012 we started to raise funds for the construction of a new ‘Mother’ project and, we have completed the construction of the maternity department, the first phase that will continue in 2015 with the furniture and interior equipment.
And this is the reason why I’m now asking you to follow us and trust us with a free gesture: donate 0.5% of your taxes to this association.
This way to work together, as you already know, does not involve any extra expense, it’s just enough to write a code and sign.
The contribution of 0.5% of your taxes is very precious for the PSC, earmarked for projects in Senegal, Congo and Peru, where used to interventions of development. Set on the principle of providing the means and tools that will create an independent development and projects of the lower support (remote support), directed mainly to the study and professional training.
