Morigerati is a small medieval village whose origins are traced back to a settlement of Basilian monks.
The area is known for the WWF oasis, where the river Bussento rises in the oasis caves.
In this excursion you will be joined by the mix of the sea and the mountain.

Departing from the Resort Baia Del Silenzio, we will reach Pisciotta to discover the characteristic alleyways, then we will reach Ascea where we will have a little snack break.
It takes about 4km to reach an ancient city, crossed by ancient maritime trades, called Elea by the Greeks, and later Velia, by the Romans.
Here we will visit the famous excavations of Velia. During the return journey we will pass trought the Marina di Ascea Village. During this journey the sea will accompany us continually.
We will return from Ascea station to the train station of Centola. From here we will continue another 16 km by bike and then we will return to the Resort. Take away lunch.
