The National Park of Cilento is a World Heritage of Humanity for the quality of life, integration and perfect balance between man and the resources of its habitat and the ability to preserve its traditions.

With its 180.000 hectares is the second largest park of Italy. It is included in the prestigious network of biosphere reserves of the MAB program. Cilento National Park is populated by hundreds of species, including otters. It is characterized by various great geological environments and wonderful landscapes ranging from Aleppo pines and typical Pisciotta olive trees, chestnut trees and beech woods; Landscapes include Dolomite massifs of Cervani and Alburni, but also sea bays and cliffs: the numerous sea caves remains of the Neolithic age are enriched by underground rivers springs and by the amazing karstic caves.

The Cilento has thousand of hidden treasures, its archaeological areas (Paestum and Velia) represents the testimony of great ancient civilizations.
